As Oleeo’s Senior People Partner, you’ll play a key role as part of the wider People team.  Based in our Wimbledon Park office headquarters, delivering an outstanding people experience at a senior level across our UK and US offices.  You will play a strategic role building trusted partnerships with a variety of senior leadership and management level stakeholders across all areas of the Oleeo business globally.   

We are looking for an experienced Senior HR business partner to oversee all human resources operations and ensure they’re aligned with our business goals.  You will be a true generalist with experience in:

  • complex employee relations cases (including grievances, disciplinaries, contract negotiations & immigration/visa applications)

  • best practice HR policies & procedures

  • reward & recognition strategies, compensation & benefits (including commission/performance related bonus schemes that achieve targets & drive the right behaviours) 

  • learning & development (including delivering & designing content for leadership team offsites)

  • driving a high performance culture, outstanding leadership behaviours & employee engagement strategies

  • organisational design, transformation & change management

  • the latest HR tech to inform the people agenda and measure KPIs

What will you be doing?

  • Acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor - you actively use strategic insight, facts & figures and best practice employment law knowledge to influence employees, managers and leadership stakeholders in a positive manner. With diverse internal teams requiring differing approaches and outcomes, you will need to be comfortable with competing agendas and ambiguity. You are comfortable challenging others and make recommendations that are valued by both the business and people

  • Instrumental in building a work environment where high performance is valued, rewarded and recognised.  Support management and leadership stakeholders equipping them for value-added conversations, acting as capability builder to get the most out of the performance management process. You support managers in difficult conversations and play an active role in improving the feedback culture.

  • Act as a change agent and HR innovator embracing and recommending the latest HR Tech implementing and supporting change initiatives on behaviour, tools, processes and culture. When appropriate, you support and steer change dynamics, dealing with resistance and helping set direction with the Head of People

  • Working with the business and Head of People, you’ll identify and deliver solutions for our People Agenda that will optimise both employee and business performance. In fact, we’ll rely on you to be a thought-leader in all aspects of your role, bringing sound judgement and fresh ideas to the table across a variety of HR projects within the business.

  • Accurate data and reporting of HR/People analytics for the Quarterly report,  manage and track the HR budget in conjunction with the Head of People

  • Team-Player – collaborate with the rest of the People team to make sure we deliver against our agreed objectives and successes.

  • Articulate our company vision, mission and core values in ways that resonate with people

  • Solid in-depth HR generalist experience with significant experience as an HR Business Partner in a global matrixed organisation.  Knowledgeable about HR practices including employee relations & legislation, leadership performance coaching & engagement, organisational design, change management & restructure, compensation & benefits, learning & development

  • Ability to shift with ease between strategic thinking at a conceptual level and taking a pragmatic approach towards the impact on individuals and the organisation at an operational level

  • A creative thinker with strong commercial acumen, capability to juggle competing priorities and the confidence to deliver to an internal client base with high expectations globally, covering US time zones where necessary

  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with the ability to tailor messages and style appropriately to a senior stakeholder group; able to win confidence quickly using simple business language and appropriate challenge will be key to success.

  • Detailed commercial business understanding; using data to inform proposals and influence people decisions. Ideally familiar with commission or sales environments and how to drive the right behaviours to achieve NPS (Net-Promoter-Score) and sales targets.

  • Enthusiastic, reliable and results-driven, able to connect to people at various levels and facilitate team discussions

  • Obsession with making sure our core values are experienced by our people

  • Autonomous, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change.

  • Open-minded, solutions oriented, and a true team player – gaining energy through collaboration with others and able to deal with ambiguity/work under own initiative

  • Personable and enjoy dealing with people, you'll be someone who finds it easy to build good relationships whilst standing your ground where needed!

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Experience working in or partnering with an innovative organisation and/or a SaaS  business with a strong tech focus, desirable but not essential

  • Educated to degree level with a CIPD qualification or equivalent
