Oleeo is seeking a Product Consultant as a senior member of our Product Management Team who will have primary responsibility to explore the external market in order to inform Oleeo’s product road map . We are looking for someone who can present a well defined justification for additions to the product road map, and be able to provide a structured and robust methodology in relation to the product recommendation process that we can refer back to and factor in scoring.
As pioneers in the Software as a Service (SaaS) Recruitment technology space, we are looking for someone who understands the market for our product. The various facets to this role will include you exploring Sales, Marketing, Technical and providing competitor analysis on our product market. You will need to be able to present your findings to various teams within Oleeo, including Marketing and Technology.
This is a pivotal and new role for Oleeo. You will work within the Technical team, and become part of the sprint plans, but also have a lot of contact with our CEO.
Research customers, competitors, providers and current openings in the market
Monitor periodicals, blogs, market research, market trends
Present complex research findings in standardised presentations (e.g. market overview, recommended priorities / mvp (minimal viable product), build / partner) to Leadership team, Marketing and CEO
Design and evaluate ideas for new products
Long-term goals keeping company relevant with products that sell

Experience of working with a SaaS/software product in terms of strategy and/or marketing
Strong analytical skills. Ability to translate raw information into business cases. Experience of standard analysis such as competitive analysis and market analysis.
Able to provide high level presentations with recommendations for future products with a defined robust methodology.
Self starter who is as comfortable working on their own as well as part of a wider team.
Good understanding of product development life cycle.
Curiosity and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable critical thinking and able to challenge effectively
Able to work in the UK without any restrictions. Security Clearance may be required in the future for this role.
Educated to degree level ideally
Accredited experience or qualification in Product Management
